“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” (Matthew 7: 1-5)
[su_accordion][su_spoiler title=”WHAT DOES ISA TEACH US ABOUT FORGIVENESS?” open=”no” style=”default” icon=”plus” anchor=”” class=””]
Forgiveness goes with God like stars go with the Sky. Forgiveness is necessary to understand and apply in our own lives when we know we don’t deserve to be the forgive-or.
If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Matthew 6:14-15.
It is very important to remember this wisdom because often times we are not quick to forgive. But according to Jesus, who reveals Allah’s character, we are to possess a forgiving spirit. Jesus goes so far as to say that we should forgive our offender 70 x 7(seventy times seven). Matthew 18:21-22.
