The Qur\u2019an\nand Hadith have foretold the Descent of Isa (His peace be upon us). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Qur\u2019an\nspeaks very clearly about the descent (the Second Coming) of Isa Al-Masih (His\npeace be upon us), “There shall not be anyone from People of the Book, but\nshall believe in him before his death and on the Day of Resurrection, he\n(Jesus) shall be a witness against them.” (Al-Nisa 4: 159) <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore,\nthe Qur\u2019an declares that Isa\u2019s return to Earth is a major sign of Yawm Al-Qiyamah\n(Day of Resurrection), “And he (Isa) shall be a Sign (for the coming of)\nthe Hour (of Resurrection); therefore have no doubt about it (the Hour). And\nfollow me (Allah), this is a Straight Path.” (Al-Zukhruf 43: 61)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ibn Abbas\nhas said that the meaning of this verse is that Prophet Isa descent is a sign\nof Al-Qiyamah. (Musnad Ahmad)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Huzaifa bin Usaid\nreported that Prophet Mohammad suddenly came to us while we were talking. He\nasked, “What are you talking about?” We replied, “We were\ntalking about the Last Hour.” The Prophet said, “It will never come\nuntil you see ten signs before it. He then mentioned the Smoke, the Dajjal\n(Anti-Christ), the Daabba, the Rising of the Sun from the place of its setting,\nthe Descent of Jesus son of Mary (from Heaven), Yajuj and Ma’juj (Gog &\nMaGog)…” (Sahih Muslim).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even the\nHadith describes how Isa Al-Masih looks like, \u201cAbu Huraira narrated that\nProphet Mohammad said: “There is no prophet between me and him (Isa\nAl-Masih). He shall descend so; recognize him when you see him. He is a man of\nmedium height, (his complexion) is between reddish and white; he will be\nbetween (or dressed in) two slightly yellowish garments; His head looks as if\nit is dripping water even though it is not wet. He will fight people in the\ncause (for the sake) of Islam, will break the Cross and kill the swine (pig) and\nabolish Jizya (tax on Christians and Jews); and Allah will put an end to all\nreligious sects except Islam during his (Jesus’) time. He (Jesus) will slay the\nAntichrist (Dajjal) and he will stay in the World for 40 years. Then, he will\ndie and the Muslims will perform the funeral prayer for him.” (Abu Dawud\nand Musnad Ahmad).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some\nnarrations of the Hadith indicate Isa will descend in Damascus, while other\nnarrations indicate Jerusalem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some\nnarrations indicate Isa will kill the Anti-Christ in Lud (near Tel Aviv,\nIsrael), while other narrations indicate it will be near Afiq, close to Lake\nTiberias (Sea of Galilee). Some scholars such as Al-Ahwazi believe that Lud\ndoes not refer to a name of a city or location, but rather it means Fitna\n(strife, trial, or tribulation). Mujm’e bin Jariya Al-Ansari narrated that\nProphet Mohammad said: “Son of Mary (meaning Isa) will kill the Dajjal\n(Anti-Christ) at a door of Lud.” (Tirmizi, Ahmad, Tabarani, Ibn Hayan, Abu\nDawood Al-Tayalisi). Tirmizi classified it as a Sahih Hadith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Hadith\nproclaim that Isa Al-Masih will descent as a Just Judge, Abu Huraira narrated\nthat the Prophet said, “By whom my soul is in his hand, soon, the Son of\nMary (Jesus) will come down to be among you as a just Judge. He will break the\ncross, kill (outlaw raising) the pig, and abolish the Jizya (tax on Christians\n& Jews because Christianity and Judaism will end). There will be abundance\n(surplus or outflow) in Wealth (and money) to the extent that no one will\naccept it (if you want to give charity) and a single prostration (in prayer to\nAllah) will be better than the World and all what is in it.” (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Hadith\nlists all types of spiritual and worldly blessings will descend on Earth in His\ntime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– There will be an abundance in wealth. Wealth\nwill flow like water. People will no longer have to pay Zakat (tax) and Sadaqa(charity).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– All hearts\nwill be free from misery, envy, malice, and jealousy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Each\nharmful animal will be made harmless. Camels will graze with the lions and the\ncheetahs with cattle. A little girl will chase a lion and make it run away from\nher like children chasing a puppy and this lion will not harm her. Venom will\nbe taken out from all venomous animals, a little boy will put his hand in a\nsnake’s mouth, but it will not harm him. The wolf will live with the sheep and\nprotect them as if it were a sheep dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Peace,\nharmony and tranquility will prevail in the world. People will be in complete\nagreement, wars will cease, the earth will be filled with peace like a silver\nbasin and it will sprout with vegetation like at the time of Prophet Adam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– The\nfertility of the land will increase to the extent that if a seed is planted in\na rock, it will sprout. The Earth will produce so much fruit that a large group\nof people will sit to eat a bunch of grapes or a pomegranate and they will be\nsatisfied and use its peel as an umbrella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– There will\nalso be blessing in milk. The milk of a single she camel will be sufficient to\nsatisfy the hunger of a large group of people. A cow will produce what is\nsufficient for a tribe of people, and a sheep will produce milk, which is\nsufficient for a family of people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Horses\nwill be cheap as they will be never ridden in war and bulls will be expensive,\nas they will be needed to plough the land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
