All these references in the Qur\u2019an agree with the facts about Jesus in the Bible, that Jesus (His peace be upon us) is an extraordinary person, \u201cJesus, because He will save his people from their sins\u201d (Matthew 1:21), \u201cImmanuel (which means \u201cGod with us)\u201d (Matthew 1:23), \u201cSo the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God\u201d (Luke 1:35), and \u201ca Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord\u201d (Luke 2: 11).<\/p>\n
The Gospel proclaims His ministry, \u201cThe Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
